The opportunity to apply to the 2025 CantoMundo retreat has ended.

Our reading committee will now begin the task of selecting the next group of

CantoMundo Fellows from a record 141 applications. 

Our goal is to announce the next group of Fellows in April

during National Poetry Month.

CantoMundo is located at the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. This year's retreat takes place June 18-22, 2025.

Retreat faculty include Raina J. León and Yesenia Montilla, as well as keynote speaker George Abraham. ​​
